Laurel And Hardy are possibly the funniest comedy pair ever. They teamed up in 1921 and entertained audiences until 1955. Including shorts, they starred in over 100 films (106). Their first movie, The Lucky Dog, was a chance passing, they had not yet become a team. Stan Laurel (1890–1965) and Oliver Hardy (1892–1957) were established as film comedians prior to their teaming, with Laurel appearing in over 50 silent films and Hardy in over 250. (Hardy also appeared in three sound features without Laurel.). The bottom line is that they were hilarious and still are, today. The Haunted House is a 1921 silent comedy film starring Buster Keaton. It was written and directed by Keaton and Edward F. Cline. The film is short and has a runtime of 21 minutes. Keaton plays a teller at a successful bank. Unbeknownst to him, the manager of the bank and his gang are planning on pulling off a robbery and hiding in an old house that they have rigged up with booby traps and effects to make it appear to be haunted. After a mishap that afternoon with Keaton getting glue all over the money and himself, he almost thwarts the gang's robbery, but when the owner of the bank walks in and sees Keaton armed with a gun, he assumes it was he who tried to rob it.
