Barefoot Boy, the movie, is a 1938 American children's adventure story.. The film was directed by Karl Brown, It was inspired by the poem of the same name by American writer John Greenleaf Whittier. The Flying Deuces, also known as Flying Aces, is a 1939 buddy comedy film. The movie stars Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. The comedy duo join the French Foreign Legion. The film is a partial remake of their short film Beau Hunks made in 1931. While Stan and Ollie are vacationing in Paris from working in a fish market in Des Moines, Ollie falls in love with Beautiful Georgette (Jean Parker). She is married to a Foreign Legion officer named Francois (Reginald Gardiner). When Ollie manages to come yo with the courage to propose to Georgette, she rejects him because there is someone else.
